Turning her Bridezilla mode to The One and Only!

Makkah Mukarramah

Allah had selected this Blessed city to be the location of His House and has made it obligatory for His bondsmen to travel to fulfills certain rites. It is for this reason that people of Imaan arrive in Makkah from all parts of the world with their hearts fill with love and their appearances exuding humility and submission. They are drawn to this Blessed land with simple clothing, open heads and free from worldly adornment.

The place has been blessed with such sanctity and safety that anyone entering it becomes safety and protected. Even if a person stepped in sin heads there, he/she becomes cleansed like a new-born baby. The splendid city houses sites where du'aas are readily accepted, where sins forgiven and where difficulties are alleviated. When Qiyaamah draws near and strife will be tearing the world apart, this special city will be under protection of the angels and Dajjal will unable to enter it.

The Hajar Aswad

It now consists of eight pieces of varying sizes, with the largest being the size of a date. The pieces were affixed to large stone then encased in a silver frame. It is Masnoon to kiss the original pieces and NOT the larger stone to which pieces have been attached. Du'aas are accepted at the Hajar Aswad and on the Day of Qiyaamah Allah will present Hajar Aswad in such a manner that will have two eyes & tongue to testify the Iman of all whose kiss it.

Rukn Yamani

This corner of Kaabah is called Rukn Yamani where Rasulullah s.a.w made "Istilaam" refer to touching the corner by hand or by kissing. Du'aas made by placing hand on the Rukn Yamani are accepted.

The Multazam

The area between Hajar Aswad & Kaabah door is called Multazam (approximately 2m) where du'aas are accepted. Sunnah to hold on to the wall of the Kaabah in such manner the cheek, chest and hands are against the wall. Allah will grant a person whatever he asks for there and save him from whatever he seeks refuge from there.

Plan view of Kaabah

The Hateem

The Hateem is that crescent shaped area adjacent to Ka'bah. Du'aas are accepted beneath the Mizaab Rahmah within the Hateem (3 metres away are definitely part of Ka'abah). One should therefore note that any person wish to perform solat within the Ka'abah may have this wish by performing solat in the three metres immediately adjacent to the wall on the side of Hateem.

Mizaab Rahmah (the water outlet of Mercy)

Some saints have mentioned that the du'aas are accepted beneath the Mizaab.

The Baytul Ma'moor

Just as Kaabah is regarded as Allah's House on earth there is a corresponding place in HEAVENs called Baytul Ma'moor which holds the same status there as the Kaabah does on earth. Baytul Ma'moor is a house in heavens directly above Kaabah and its status and reverence there is just like the status and reverence the Kaabah holds on earth. Each day 70,000 angels engage in Ibadah there and NONE of them EVER get the second opportunity to present themselves there again.

Despite being such as chosen servants by Allah, the angels do not have the honour of revisiting the Baytul Ma'moor while mankind and Jin are fortunate enough NOT to be restricted to this manner!

p/s: Semoga info kali ini membawa manfaat kepada semua, will be back to review on Madinah soon insyaAllah. Dan semoga Allah sentiasa menjemput kita semua ke Kaabah at soonest possible! Ameen~
